Australian Bureau of Statistics Continues the War on Christianity

Questions for the upcoming census are deliberately skewed against the church.

The war against Christianity in Australia continues, with the latest shot being fired by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

The ABS are currently finalising questions for the 2026 census, and changes to the question regarding religious faith are particularly telling.

As reported in today’s Australian, households will be asked of each member,

“Does the person have a religion?”

There is a tick box for “No”. But there is no box in which to tick “Yes”.

Instead, there is simply a blank space where you can manually write down your religion.

This is a major change from previous census forms, where there was a series of boxes listing eight major religions you could tick.
